Governor Monday Okpebholo is set to swear in a new cohort of key officials this Tuesday, October 14, 2025, in a move to fully constitute his administration’s governance structure.
The ceremony will see the inauguration of commissioner-designates, as well as the chairmen and members of four pivotal state commissions. These include the Edo State Audit Service Commission, the Law Reform Commission, the Lottery Regulatory Commission, and the Ecological Funding and Management Commission.
Additionally, the Governor will inaugurate the Governing Board of the Edo State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, underscoring the administration’s focus on public health.
The event is scheduled to take place at the New Festival Hall within the Government House in Benin City, commencing at 11:00 am. All concerned persons and invited guests have been directed by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq., to be seated by 10:30 am.
This swearing-in ceremony marks a critical step in strengthening the state’s executive framework, ensuring that various sectors have dedicated leadership to drive Governor Okpebholoโs policies and deliver on his promises to the people of Edo State.
