National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), David Mark, has reassured party members that the ADC will be on the ballot for the 2027 general elections, dismissing concerns over ongoing legal challenges.
Mark’s statement came after a briefing from the party’s legal team regarding a recent ruling by the Federal High Court in Abuja. He expressed confidence that the ADC would overcome all the legal hurdles currently facing the party.
“You have nothing to fear about the litigations before the party,” Mark said during a press conference on Wednesday night. “We are confident that we will triumph in all cases, and we will be on the ballot for every election.”
The ADC leader confirmed that the party was fully committed to pursuing all available legal avenues, stressing that he would personally lead the charge through the legal process.
The party’s legal team has already filed an appeal against the court’s decision, as well as a request for a stay of execution, indicating the ADC’s strong resolve to challenge the ruling.
