The Bauchi State Tourism Corporation has announced a strategic partnership with journalists in the state to promote global tourism, the rich cultural heritage and tourist attractions of the state.
This development was announced during a courtesy visit to the Managing Director of the Tourism Development Corporation by the Executive members of Journalists for Tourism Development in his office in Bauchi.
The MD Nasiru Shehu, said the collaboration was designed to ensure wider publicity of Bauchi’s tourism potential to attract both local and international visitors.
He explained that journalists play a critical role in shaping narratives and showcasing the state’s unique sites, including the Yankari Game Reserve, the Sumu Wildlife Park, and various historical monuments.
He stated that the Corporation has concluded all arrangements to work with Journalists for Tourism Development to promote the state’s cultural heritage to the global world by showcasing the state’s heritage potentials.
Besides that, the Board will engage journalists in all its activities within and outside the state to give more publicity to the general activities of the office.
