The police operatives in Akwa Ibom State Police Command have arrested an infamous kidnapper, Ubong Michael, alias Ubong Boy, who had been on its wanted list and recovered a human skull, bones, cartridges and a dagger.

The State PPRO, DSP Timfon John, tersely disclosed this breakthrough in a statement in Uyo on Thursday.

Ubong was a notorious kidnap kingpin and sea pirate, who was feared killed by the Akwa Ibom State Police Command in his latest onslaught.

He was known for high-profile crimes, including the abduction and murder of a marine police officer.

He was killed during a gun battle, significantly weakening criminal operations in the region.
