Special adviser to President Bola Tinubu on policy communication,Daniel Bwala told former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar that the ruling APC would trounced him in the 2027 presidential polls.
Bwala, former aide to Atiku made his comment while reacting to remarks by Abubakar, who was a guest on Arise TV on Wednesday.
Spear News recalls that the forme vice-president has ran for the presidential seat for six times, spanning from 2007, 2019, and 2023.
While the interview lasted , Abubakar said the 2027 general election will be his last shot at the presidency.
But Abubakar who reposed trust in the opposition popularity tilting towards African Democratic Congress (ADC) said any presidential candidate backed by the coalition would defeat Tinubu in 2027.
In a post via X on Wednesday night, Bwala, a former aide to the ex-vice president, dismissed the ADC as a gathering of โaggrieved stateless leadersโ.
Bwala insisted that it is almost certain that Abubakar would be the ADC presidential flagbearer in the poll, maintained that Tinubu would defeat him again as he did in 2023, when the ex-vice-president had governors and state structures solidly behind him.
Yet, Bwala wrote, โMy former boss @atiku said โwith a coalition candidate, President Tinubu @officialABAT is dead on arrival. Lol,โ Bwala chuckled.
โWith a coalition of aggrieved โSTATELESSโ leaders, I doubt if President Tinubu would bother to check the scoreboard on the day.
โBut we know you are the coalition candidate YET (no vex sir), he defeated you in 2023 when you had governors, states, and structures. These governors, states and structures are now with him”..
