In a significant restructuring, President Tinubu has sacked the entire management board of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and announced a new leadership team.
Rotimi Pedro, a seasoned entertainment and intellectual property lawyer, has been appointed as the new Director-General.
This decisive action, effective immediately, is intended to revitalize the national broadcaster and enhance its operational efficiency. The Presidency stated that the new appointments align with the President’s vision to leverage broadcasting as an instrument for national unity, social cohesion, and soft power diplomacy.
