Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo (SAN), has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains several steps ahead of the opposition, asserting that neither the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) nor any other opposition group can outmaneuver him.
In a post shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Sunday, Keyamo argued that Tinubu’s deep roots in opposition politics give him an unassailable strategic advantage over his rivals.
According to Keyamo, what makes President Tinubu unique is his journey from the “deep end of opposition” to the nation’s highest office. He recalled that as far back as 2007, Tinubu was the only surviving opposition Governor in the South-West, a position from which the PDP could not dislodge him.
“Therefore, every step the opposition takes today and every strategy they adopt is from the playbook of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Keyamo wrote. “He knows and understands every single step against him before they even conceive it.”
The Minister further warned that attempting to defeat the President politically is an exercise in futility.
“You cannot beat the master at his own game; you cannot outfox the man who taught almost all of us how to play opposition politics,” he added. “He is 100 steps ahead of all of them.”
