The Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board has announced the opening of its recruitment portal for the 2026 exercise, inviting qualified candidates to apply for 1,800 primary healthcare positions across the state.
The recruitment follows the successful engagement of 1,800 healthcare workers last year, bringing the total number of new health personnel recruited under the current administration to 3,600.
In a statement released by the Board, the exercise is part of the Kaduna State Government’s sustained commitment to transforming the state’s healthcare system through direct investment in human capital under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Uba Sani.
Since May 2023, the administration has demonstrated commitment to public health through several decisive initiatives, including significant increases in annual health budget allocations, comprehensive upgrading of 255 Primary Health Centres to Level 2 status, reconstruction and equipping of 16 General Hospitals across the state, completion and commissioning of the state-of-the-art 300-bed hospital in Millennium City, and implementation of an enhanced salary structure for all healthcare workers.
The Board noted that these investments reflect the government’s resolve to strengthen the primary healthcare system and improve health outcomes for residents across all 23 local government areas of the state. Interested and qualified candidates are invited to apply through the official recruitment portal at https://recruitment.kdsg.gov.ng/.
Applicants are advised to ensure they meet the required qualifications and to complete their submissions before the portal closes. Only successful candidates will be contacted for the next stage of the exercise.
The Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board urged all eligible healthcare professionals to take advantage of the opportunity to contribute to building a stronger and more responsive healthcare system for the people of Kaduna State.
