A Kaduna State High Court has adjourned its ruling on the bail application filed by former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai.
The court will now deliver its decision on April 21st.
In a related development, El-Rufai is also expected to appear before a Federal High Court in Kaduna for a ruling on a separate bail application. That application stems from a second case filed against him by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
The former governor is currently facing legal battles initiated by the anti-graft agency. Details of the allegations in both cases have not been immediately disclosed.
The adjournment means El-Rufai will remain in the legal process while awaiting the outcomes from both the state and federal high courts later this month.
