Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, has approved the appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries for the state’s civil service.
The announcement was made in a Government Special Announcement signed by the Head of Service, Dr. (Mrs) Inyingi S. I. Brown, on Monday, February 10, 2026.
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are:
- Dr. Wachukwu, Vincent Worgu
- Eke, Cordelia Uwuma
- Ogboma, Ifeanyi Anthony
- Dr. Jim-Jaja, Mina Gogo
- Uzor, Henry
According to the announcement, the appointees will be sworn into office by Governor Fubara on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the Rivers State Secretariat Complex.
The appointments are part of the Governor’s mandate to strengthen the administrative framework of the state government. The new Permanent Secretaries are expected to assume leadership roles in various state ministries.
