The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won the Lagos State local government elections in a landslide victory, securing all 57 chairmanship seats and 375 out of 376 councillorship positions.
The results were officially declared by Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) Chairman, Justice Mobolanle Abidemi Okikiolu-Ighile (Retd.), during a press conference on Sunday.
The only seat not secured by the APC went to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Yaba Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
