Available footage on the social media account of Patience Abbo, wife of
former senator Ishaku Abbo who represented Adamawa North, has exposed a breach of airport security protocols after she overreached a restricted area to accompany her husband to the foot of awaiting aircraft.
In the video, linked to have been recorded at the Yola Airport, based on visible terminal markings, Mrs Abbo was observed trekking across the apron near the aircraft staircase.
Mrs Abbo was captured swapping a black phone case with her husband, kissing him in a farewell gesture, and then turning back as he boarded the plane.
Also, the footage indicated the interaction being recorded from within the excluded area by a third party, raising further questions about who had access to the operational area at the time.
The video, sighted by Spear News Nigeria which is yet, publicly accessible on her account at the time of filing this report, has generated concerns about how some people take self-indulgence in daring the enforcement of aviation security regulations in the country.
