Governor Uba Sani has declared that the APC’s clean sweep in Kaduna’s bye-elections reflects growing public trust in the party, following victories in all contested seats including the historic Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency win.

“This landmark victory is not just for our party, but for the good people of Kaduna State who continue to believe in our shared vision of unity, progress, development, and inclusive governance,” Sani stated during a meeting with APC stakeholders at Yar’adua Hall on Sunday.
The Governor specifically highlighted the significance of winning seats the party had never previously captured, saying: “The APC won all the contested seats… and the Chikun LG/Kajuru LG Federal Constituency, which our party, the APC has never won until now.”

The APC claimed the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency seat for the first time in its history, alongside the state assembly seats for Basawa (Sabon Gari LGA) and Zaria/Kewaye (Zaria LGA).
Official results from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) showed decisive margins in all three races, with the APC defeating rival parties including the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP).

He expressed gratitude to party faithful, noting: “I sincerely appreciate the commitment, sacrifice, and hard work of our party leaders, members, and supporters who made this success possible. Their resilience and unity remain our greatest strength.”
Looking ahead, Sani pledged inclusive governance, declaring: “Now that elections are over, we reaffirm our commitment to inclusive leadership where everyone is carried along, regardless of political, religious, or ethnic affiliation.”
The Governor concluded with a resolution from the stakeholders’ meeting: “We resolved to continue working together in harmony, strengthening the bonds within our dear party, and focusing on delivering the dividends of democracy to our people. Together, we shall consolidate on our gains and build a Kaduna State that works for all.”
