Kaduna State Governor, His Excellency Senator Uba Sani, has appointed the Emir of Kauru, His Royal Highness Alhaji Ya’u Shehu Usman, as the Amirul Hajj and leader of the state’s delegation for the 2025 pilgrimage.
The appointment, announced on Monday, recognizes the Emir’s distinguished record of selfless service, integrity, and exceptional leadership in human management.
As Amirul Hajj, the revered traditional ruler will oversee Kaduna State’s Hajj operations, working closely with the Kaduna State Special Hajj Committee, federal agencies, and international bodies to facilitate a seamless pilgrimage for intending pilgrims.
Governor Uba Sani congratulated the Emir on his appointment, expressing confidence in his ability to leverage his vast experience and leadership skills for the success of the exercis. 1
The Governor also prayed for divine guidance and protection for the Emir and the entire delegation.
