The Police Service Commission (PSC) in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has fixed 28-30 April 2026 for the written examination for applicants seeking enlistment as Police Constables (for both General Duty and Specialist applicants).Nigeria Travel Guides
The exercise will take place at Osun State University, Oke- Baale, Osogbo for Osun State applicants.
This was disclosed in a press release on Saturday in Osogbo by the Osun State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, CSP Abiodun Ojelabi.
According to Ojelabi, “Only candidates who successfully passed the physical and credentials screening are eligible.
“Qualified applicants are to log on to http://www.npfapplication.psc.gov.ng from Friday 24 April 2026 to print their Examination Invitation Card, which indicates the specific date, time and venue of their test.
“Meanwhile, the Osun applicants that were erroneously scheduled for 27th April 2026 should recheck the website because, there is a little adjustment in the date. Also, the applicants who are yet to receive any message should check the website too, in order to print their invitation letter.”
The release listed items required for the examination as follows:
- A pen
- National Identification Number (NIN) Slip from NIMC (with clear photograph)
- Printed Examination Invitation Card
- Dress Code: White shorts, white T‑shirt and white canvas.
The Police Service Commission reiterated that the recruitment process is entirely free and warned that any form of job racketeering, scams, or financial inducement will be met with the full force of the law.
