Henry Okoye, eldest brother of the famous twin duo Peter and Paul Okoye, has made fresh allegations against his brother Jude Okoye in a video that has now gone viral across social media.
In the recording, Henry accused Jude of being the root cause of the family’s long-standing divisions. He went further to alleged that Jude may have used spiritual manipulation, commonly referred to as “juju,” on Paul, noting that Paul was once the kindest member of the family but has since changed in ways Henry finds difficult to explain.
“Paul used to be the nicest person before before. I just don’t know what happened or how to put am,” Henry said in the video. “I don’t know if Jude did juju on Paul.”
The Okoye brothers have been in the public eye for their family disputes since P-Square’s initial split in 2017. The group, which dominated the African music scene for over a decade, officially broke up after Peter publicly accused his twin brother Paul and their elder brother and manager Jude of mismanagement and unfair treatment.
At the time, Peter alleged that Jude controlled the group’s finances and that he was sidelined in decision-making. The split led to years of silence between the twins, with both pursuing separate solo careers. Peter adopted the stage name Mr. P, while Paul rebranded as Rudeboy.
In 2021, the brothers shocked fans by announcing a reunion. They released a few singles together and embarked on a tour. But the peace was short-lived. By late 2024, tensions resurfaced, and the duo parted ways again.
In recent months, the feud has taken a more bitter turn. Peter released a series of videos accusing Jude of financial misappropriation, alleging that Jude diverted funds meant for the group’s activities. Peter also claimed that Jude had been collecting royalties and signing contracts without his knowledge or consent.
Jude has denied these allegations. In response, he filed a defamation suit against Peter, seeking damages for what he described as false and malicious claims.
In the middle of this, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) brought money laundering charges against Jude. He is accused of handling N1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59 in ways that violated Nigerian financial laws. Jude has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is currently on bail.
Paul has largely remained quiet in the ongoing public exchange, though his silence has drawn attention. Some fans have speculated that he is caught in the middle between his twin brother and their elder brother.
In his viral video, Henry added a new dimension to the story. He claimed that he was the original sponsor of P-Square’s music career, helping Peter and Paul with logistics and funding before they became famous. He alleged that Jude only stepped in after the group started making money and offered to manage them.
He further claimed that their late mother, Josephine Okoye, initially objected to Jude’s involvement because she knew his character. “She knew the kind of character Jude has,” Henry said. But one of their siblings begged her, and she reluctantly agreed.
Henry also alleged that Jude has not been supportive of their other siblings. He mentioned their youngest sister, who he said is currently struggling in Lagos. According to him, Jude and Paul have not been helping her, but Peter has been trying.
He also recalled a period when he was hospitalised for two months. “Jude never called,” he said. “He knows because Peter and Paul used to call me.”
Henry told the interviewer that he has not spoken to Jude in nearly two years. When asked if Peter and Paul could ever reconcile, he expressed doubt. “I’ll be happy for them to come back together, but I don’t think they’ll come back because Jude has made all of us become enemies,” he said.
