Gombe State Governor and Chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum (NSGF), Inuwa Yahaya, has declared that the North will support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, citing the administration’s progress in delivering key promises to the region.
Speaking at the opening of a two-day government-citizen engagement session organized by the Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation in Kaduna, Governor Yahaya emphasized that the North’s strong backing for Tinubu in 2023 was a well-considered decision.
He noted that the region is already benefiting from improvements in infrastructure, security, energy, and agriculture under the current administration.
The interactive forum, held at Arewa House, brought together leaders and stakeholders to discuss governance and development in Northern Nigeria. Governor Yahaya reiterated that the region’s continued support for Tinubu reflects confidence in his policies and commitment to addressing critical challenges in the NorthTerm
