The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has summoned Ibom Air cabin crew members Comfort Emmanson and Juliana Edward for further questioning.
This followed the controversial altercation involving Emmanson and airline staff during a flight from Uyo to Lagos on August 10th.
Speaking at an ongoing Emergency National Civil Aviation Security Committee and Stakeholdersโ Meeting in Abuja, the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Michael Achimugu, stated that the authority had already spoken with Ms. Emmanson earlier on Tuesday.
Achimugu disclosed that she and the other crew members are to appear before the Authority on Wednesday to continue the investigation.
โI have spoken with Ms. Emmanson this morning. We are also inviting the Ibom Air cabin crew for continued investigation on the incident. They will be here tomorrow,โ he stated.
