Manchester City kept the pressure firmly on Premier League leaders Arsenal after cruising to a dominant 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.
The victory ensured Pep Guardiola’s side maintained their pursuit of Arsenal in the title race as the season heads into its decisive stages.

Manchester City controlled proceedings for most of the encounter, producing a composed attacking display against a Palace side that struggled to cope with the hosts’ movement and possession.

Their superiority was eventually rewarded again in the 84th minute when Savinho calmly slotted home from close range after a scramble inside the penalty area to seal the emphatic victory.
Guardiola’s side displayed impressive control throughout the contest, with midfield orchestrator Foden once again influential in the attacking transitions, while City’s defensive unit comfortably contained Palace forwards Jean-Philippe Mateta and Brennan Johnson.
The result further boosts City’s momentum as they continue their pursuit of a fifth Premier League title under Guardiola.
For Crystal Palace, the defeat represents another setback in a difficult run, with manager Oliver Glasner left searching for consistency as the season approaches its conclusion.
