The All Progressives Congress (APC) has issued invitations to an extensive list of party stakeholders and government officials for its forthcoming National Summit, themed “Renewed Hope Agenda: The Journey So Far.”
The summit is scheduled to take place on 22 May 2025 at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, commencing at 10:00 AM.
The invitation, signed by APC National Secretary Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, calls together an assembly of political leaders including President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, the Deputy President of the Senate, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, state governors and deputy governors who are party members, former presidents and vice presidents from the party, former Senate presidents and their deputies, former Speakers and Deputy Speakers of the House of Representatives, former governors and deputy governors, all serving senators and House of Representatives members from the party, the entire National Working Committee, National Caucus members, National Executive Committee members, Federal Executive Council members, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), former APC national chairmen and secretaries, state assembly speakers and deputy speakers from the party.
Other invitees include: Zonal officers including secretaries, youth leaders, organising secretaries, women leaders and PWD representatives, state party chairmen, secretaries, women leaders, youth leaders, publicity secretaries, organising secretaries and PWD leaders, along with representatives from the APC Youth Wing, Women’s Wing, Persons With Disabilities, Support Groups, Diaspora Chapters, Media Groups and Social Media Influencers (two per geopolitical zone for each category), state Commissioners for Information, seven additional stakeholders from each state, members of the 2023 Presidential Campaign Council, and heads of ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs).
This summit, according to the invitation, aims to provide a platform for dialogue, reflection and strategic planning, allowing the party to assess the implementation of President Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” and formulate future directions.
With representation spanning all tiers of leadership, the event is poised to reinforce party unity, evaluate governance approaches and consolidate the APC’s political strategy moving forward.
