Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has approved a minor reshuffle of his cabinet with the removal of the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Galadima.
The decision, which takes immediate effect, was announced in a statement issued on Monday by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Governor, Mukhtar Gidado.
According to the statement, the move is part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to periodically review the composition of the State Executive Council in order to inject fresh ideas, strengthen governance, and reposition the cabinet for improved service delivery across the state.
Governor Mohammed expressed appreciation to Alhaji Galadima for his contributions and services to Bauchi State while wishing him success in his future endeavours.
The governor also reassured residents of Bauchi State of his administration’s unwavering commitment to peace, security, and good governance.
The statement added that a replacement for the vacated position will be announced in due course.
