A political group, ‘Inside North East’, has applauded the appointment of Professor Muhammad Bello Abubakar from Gombe State as National Assistant Secretary of the All Democratic Congress (ADC).
This was contained in a press release by the group’s coordinator, Tasiu Mohammed. He said Abubakar’s appointment is a plus to the party as he is a veteran public servant.
“As the opposition coalition led by former PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar former LP presidential candidate Peter Obi, former governor Nasiru El-rufa’i among other high profile politicians adopted ADC as their coalition platform for the 2027 elections, they need to build the party and have formidable leaders.
“We believe, the appointment of Professor Muhammad Bello as ADC assistant secretary will be boost the strength of the party in the north east by bringing his wealth of experience and expertise to this key role”, he said.
The party has also appointed notable figures to key positions, including Mr. BD Lawal as National Vice Chairman/Zonal Chairman, Babagana Buhari as Deputy National Chairman, and Senator Suleiman Nazif as National Vice Chairman, Diaspora, and Balarabe Rufai as National Youth among others.
