The leadership of the Dada Progressive Movement (DPM) has expressed appreciation to members, supporters, stakeholders, youth mobilizers, women groups, and loyal electorates for their support and commitment throughout the recently concluded primary elections.
In a statement issued by the Editor-in-Chief of the Dada Media Crew, Comrade Adoja Godwin, on behalf of DPM Chairman Sani Yaro, the movement commended supporters for what it described as extraordinary dedication, resilience, and grassroots mobilization displayed during the electoral process.
According to the statement, supporters of the movement demonstrated “the true spirit of progressive politics and grassroots democracy” through sustained ward-to-ward mobilization and strategic engagements across various communities.
The leadership further noted that the strength of the movement was not only reflected in election outcomes but also in the unity, determination, and loyalty shown by members and supporters throughout the exercise.
“Victory is not only measured by results but by the strength, unity, and determination displayed by a people who believe in a common vision,” the statement read.
DPM particularly appreciated individuals who campaigned tirelessly, defended the movement’s mandate, encouraged supporters, and remained committed despite difficult weather conditions during the election period.
The movement stated that the commitment shown by supporters further confirmed that DPM remains a strong political force driven by grassroots participation and a shared desire for progress and development.
While appreciating supporters for their sacrifices, the leadership also urged members to remain united and focused, stressing that greater political responsibilities still lie ahead.
“The journey has just begun. Greater tasks lie ahead, and history will remember those who remained steadfast when it mattered most,” the statement added.
The movement reaffirmed its commitment to building what it described as a stronger and more progressive political structure for the people, while encouraging members to maintain unity and commitment moving forward.
The statement concluded with solidarity messages to supporters and reaffirmed confidence in the future of the movement.
