The Chief Judge of Rivers State, Hon. Justice Simeon Amadi, has declined a request from the state’s House of Assembly to constitute a seven-member judicial panel to investigate Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

However, in a decisive response, Justice Amadi cited an existing court judgement as the legal impediment preventing him from acting on the Assembly’s directive.
