The Rivers state commissioner for Youths, Hon. Chisom Gbali, officially has resigned from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)
Spear News Nigeria gathered this development reflects a new twist to a consequential realignments within the state’s political structure and power dynamics.
Gbali declared his exit in a resignation letter dated May 13, addressed to the APC chairman of Ward 1 in Oyigbo Local Government Area.
The exit membership letter prepared ahead of the declaration was said to be a broader plan of an imminent mass defections.
In the letter, the commissioner who expressed appreciation to the party for the opportunities he enjoyed during his membership, requested that his name be expunged from APC records and membership register.
