The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially denounced a document circulating online that outlines a supposed schedule for its nationwide congresses, labeling it as “fake news.”
In a press statement released on October 26, 2025, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, stated that the party’s attention had been drawn to a document titled “APC 2025 SCHEDULE OF NATIONWIDE CONGRESSES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES.”
“Our great Party wishes to clarify that the purported Schedule of Activities for Congresses was neither made nor authorized by the Party, and should be disregarded as FAKE NEWS,” Morka declared.
The statement serves as a direct and public disavowal of the document, which has been widely shared on various social media platforms. The party has moved swiftly to prevent misinformation from spreading among its members and the general public.
Morka, a member of the Order of the Niger (CON), signed the release to lend official weight to the denial. The APC has not yet announced an official date for its congresses, which are keenly anticipated events that will shape the party’s structure ahead of future elections.
The public and party faithful are advised to rely only on communications released through the APC’s official channels for accurate information regarding party activities and schedules.
