Election Monitoring ToolsBello joins 16 other cleared aspirants ahead of Monday’s APC primary, including two other contestants in Kogi Central and 14 aspirants from Kogi West and East.
Among those set to contest in the Central district is the APC Diaspora Secretary, Momoh Obaro, while Ibrahim Yakubu Adoke is also expected to participate.

Political observers note that Bello’s participation has already intensified activities within the district, with supporters mobilising ahead of Monday’s exercise.
The APC is expected to conduct the primary in line with party electoral guidelines, after which the winner will face Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan of the Peoples Democratic Party in the Kogi Central Senatorial election.
