The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Yilwatda Nentawe, has moved to strengthen the partyโs administration by appointing 15 new aides, comprising Special Advisers, Advisers, and Senior Special Assistants.
In a statement from the APC national secretariat on Tuesday, the party said the appointments were aimed at enhancing coordination, policy formulation, and stakeholder engagement at the national level.
The new appointees are expected to leverage their expertise to support the national chairman in fulfilling his duties and advancing the partyโs objectives.
The appointments include three Special Advisers: Senator Danladi Sankara (Political Matters), Daniel Oritsegbubemi (National Assembly Matters), and Dr. Sorochi Longdet (Research, Strategy, and Planning).
Four Advisers were also named: Jibrin Surajo (Community Engagement), Paul Domsing (Special Duties), Suleiman Bukari (Intelligence Coordination), and Prof. Taiwo Ajibolu Balofin (Honorary Adviser on Diaspora Coordination and Mobilisation).
Eight Senior Special Assistants will oversee specific operational areas. They are Imran Muhammad (New Media), Mildred Bako (Civil Society Organisations), Yusuf Dingyadi (Media), Enenedu Idusuyi (Protocol), Ismaila Mohammed (Conflict Management), Zarah Onyinye (Media and Public Relations), Adaku Apugo (Inter-Governmental Relations), and Obinta Juliet Chinenye (Youth Mobilisation).
The National Chairman congratulated the appointees and urged them to demonstrate dedication, loyalty, and commitment to the ideals of the APC.
The appointments take immediate effect.
