2027: Uba Sani Rallies North-West Voters for Tinubu’s Re-election

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has called on voters across the North-West to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, asserting that the region has recorded significant gains under the current administration.

The governor made the appeal on Saturday during the inauguration of coordinators and members of the “Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria” support group for the seven North-West states, held in Kaduna.

Speaking through his Special Adviser on Politics, Abubakar Mamadi, Sani said the Tinubu administration had implemented impactful interventions in agriculture, education, youth empowerment, and women development across the region.

“No region has benefited under Tinubu’s administration like the North, particularly the seven states in the North-West region,” Mamadi quoted the governor as saying.

Sani urged members of the support group to take information about the Federal Government’s programmes to grassroots communities and mobilise voters across Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Jigawa, Sokoto, and Zamfara states ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The group’s convener, Mike Auta, charged members to intensify their grassroots mobilisation efforts, stressing that the campaign must extend beyond major cities.

“Go to all nooks and crannies of the states and mobilise the people. We must ensure victory for President Tinubu come 2027,” Auta said.

The group’s women leader, Karima Abdullai, said women across the North-West had benefited from cash assistance and empowerment programmes introduced by the Tinubu administration, including support for tailoring, bakery, and soap-making vocations. She called on women to support the President’s re-election bid, expressing confidence that more women would benefit if Tinubu secured a second term.

The Director of Town Hall Engagement and Special Duties, Farida Bala, appealed to Nigerians to remain patient with the administration, describing its policies as part of an ongoing process of rebuilding and restructuring the country.

“Let us be honest with ourselves, rebuilding a nation is not easy. Patience leads to progress, and progress leads to prosperity,” Bala said, likening the process to renovating a neglected house.

The organisers said the Kaduna event marked the beginning of a broader mobilisation campaign across the North-West to build support for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
