Scores of loyalists and supporters of Mr. Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso across the country are alleging that the official server of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is presently put on hold, maintenance notice as they struggle for immediate ADC deregistration.
This frantic efforts to deregister from the party came just after Obi and Kwankwaso dumped ADC for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), stirring new realignments, permutations and party dynamics ahead of the 2027 general polls.
Spear News learned that the NDC is now having a meteoric membership growth.
Meanwhile, The African Democratic Congress (ADC), has not issued an official statement to admit or disclaim its controversial sever status.
But reliable sources said supporters of the two politicians, widely associated with the Obidient Movement and Kwankwasiyya political structure, have reportedly been attempting to deregister from the ADC in compliance with provisions of Nigeria’s new electoral law, which prohibits dual party membership.
However, top Insider sources who visited the ADC website by NWN confirmed that the platform was displaying a “maintenance ongoing” notice, temporarily limiting access to its services
In her reaction, a member of the Obidient Movement identified as Queen Bee said the development was deliberate, suggesting it was linked to the high volume of deregistration trends.
