Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has appointed Alhaji Sani Rabiu Bako as the new Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Fiscal Responsibility Commission.
The announcement was made in an official statement signed by Ibraheem Musa, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, on Thursday August 8, 2025.According to the statement, the appointment aligns with the governor’s commitment to strengthening fiscal accountability and prudent public financial management in the state.
Governor Sani charged Bako to reposition the commission to ensure macroeconomic stability and discipline in government expenditure. The appointee, a seasoned Quantity Surveyor and certified Public-Private Partnership (PPP) expert, brings decades of experience in project management. Prior to this role, he served as Principal Partner at Rie Services & Project Ltd and held leadership positions at Treasures Suites and Conferences.
Bako holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Construction Management and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree. His community service includes chairing the Kaduna Doka Development Association since 2021.
The governor congratulated Bako and expressed confidence in his ability to deliver on the commission’s mandate.
