The management for popular Nigerian TikTok creator Amadou Elizabeth, known online as Jadrolita or Jarvis, has threatened to file a defamation lawsuit against fellow content creator Hamzat Habeeb, popularly called Peller, following serious allegations made during a live stream.
The dispute stems from a recent TikTok livestream in which Peller discussed money laundering on the platform, suggesting it occurs through the app’s virtual gifting system and directly implicating Jarvis in such activities. Clips from the stream circulated widely on social media.
In the video, Peller claimed he thought Jarvis was rich “until she revealed the secret.” He further illustrated his point by alleging that a “gifter” who once supported him had asked for a 50:50 share of the money generated from TikTok gifts, an offer he said he declined.
Although the pair later appeared to reconcile online, the allegations have prompted an official and forceful response from Jarvis’s camp.
In a statement released on Sunday, her management company, Aiso Entertainment, described the accusations as “false, defamatory and damaging to her reputation.”
“The management of Jadrolita, alongside Jadrolita herself, unequivocally and categorically refutes this egregious claim in its entirety,” the statement read. It firmly insisted that the TikTok star has ānever engaged in any form of illicit financial conduct,ā labelling the specific money laundering allegation as āpatently false and malicious.ā
The company has now issued a formal ultimatum, demanding that Peller and his team retract the statements.
āWe hereby demand that Peller and his management issue an immediate, unconditional, and publicly disseminated apology to Jadrolita and her team,ā the statement from Aiso Entertainment said.
It gave a 48-hour deadline for the apology to be issued, warning that failure to comply would result in legal action. The management framed the incident as a serious case of “reputational sabotage” and insisted that the matter āwould not be ignored.ā
As of now, there has been no public response from Peller or his management to the threatened lawsuit. The 48-hour window for an apology is now underway.
