Former Edo State Governor and current Senator representing Edo North, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has called on his successor, Godwin Obaseki, to return from self-exile and answer to allegations of corruption during his eight-year tenure as governor.
Oshiomhole also challenged Obaseki to a public walk in Edo State to prove who enjoys greater popularity among the people.
He made these remarks on Thursday during a reception in Abuja celebrating the APC’s victory at the Supreme Court.
“It’s time to investigate everything that happened in the past, including the Comrade Bus issue,” Oshiomhole stated.
“I challenge Obaseki to return to Edo State—let’s walk the streets and see who has truly served the people better.”
