President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to travel to Kebbi State on Saturday for a one-day official visit, during which he will inaugurate several projects completed by the state government.
According to a statement released on Friday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President will commission projects executed by Governor Nasir Idris.
During the visit, President Tinubu will also serve as the special guest of honour at the 61st edition of the 2026 Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival.
The festival, regarded as one of Africa’s most prominent cultural events, takes place along the banks of the historic Matan Fada. It has been recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The President is expected to return to Abuja after the day’s activities.
