With the ongoing opposition discussions around possible coalition arrangements.the
Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, Sunday prophetically revealed that Mr. Peter Obi should take the vice president position under the opposition coalition for the upcoming 2027 general elections.
He said, โIf it is okay, let him take the vice president position; if he does not take it, then that is all.โ
He also affirmed that that a presidential-only ambition may face structural challenges within the current political landscape.
Ayodele made the remarks in a prophetic session shared on his official Facebook page on Sunday, April 19, 2026, where he made a fresh prediction about the 2027 presidential race and, emerging political alignments, potential power-sharing and negotiations within opposition platforms.
He added that opposition negotiations ahead of 2027 may likely require strategic alliances and joint tickets, where compromise could play a major role in determining electoral success.
Though, he admitted that Peter Obi remains a strong political figure, but insisted that coalition politics may influence the direction of his ambitions if opposition groups decide to work together against the ruling party.
He also advised political stakeholders within the opposition camp to prioritize unity and realistic negotiations, warning that division could weaken their chances in the next general election.
