Nigeria’s state-owned oil company, NNPC Ltd, has announced a major plan to build and revamp the country’s downstream energy infrastructure.
The Group Chief Executive, Engr. Bayo Ojulari, unveiled the strategy at the OTL Africa Downstream Energy Week in Lagos. He stated that the company is committed to deploying new infrastructure and modernising existing facilities across the oil and gas value chain.
Ojulari emphasised that for the sector to succeed, companies must move beyond pure competition. He called for greater collaboration and a focus on sustainable energy to drive efficiency and growth.
The NNPC also plans to make these new storage and transport assets available to its partners, fostering strategic alliances within the sector.
