The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has confirmed the safe arrival of its C-130 transport aircraft (NAF 913) at a maintenance facility in Lisbon, Portugal, following a successful ferry flight.
A statement by the Director of Public Relations, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, confirmed that the aircraft and crew landed without incident on December 26, 2025, marking the completion of the transit phase for its scheduled depot maintenance. The flight proceeded according to an updated plan, with stopovers in Banjul and Casablanca, adhering to established aviation safety protocols.

All personnel are reported safe and in high spirits.
The NAF expressed gratitude for the cooperation and support of host authorities during the transit, reaffirming its commitment to the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational accountability.
