Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami SAN, has officially submitted his governorship nomination and expression of interest forms at the National Secretariat of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Abuja.
The submission was completed in full compliance with the party’s guidelines.
Malami SAN declared what citizens of Kebbi State are now calling “Operation Rescue.”
He vowed to pull the state out of deepening insecurity, economic paralysis, collapsing public schools, crumbling healthcare facilities, and rising despair.
The former AGF enters the race as a tested national leader with eight years of high-level governance experience.
He pledged to restore security, revive agriculture, rebuild infrastructure, and return hope to the people of Kebbi.
Malami SAN described the ADC platform as a rising political force rooted in accountability, inclusion, and development.
He said his candidacy offers a formidable alternative to the failing status quo.
This Office confirmed that intensive consultations are now underway across all local government areas to perfect the rescue agenda.
“The people of Kebbi are no longer waiting for relief that never comes,” the statement read. “The rescue has officially begun.”
