The Chairman of Dambam Local Government Council in Bauchi State, Hon. Yakubu Garba Tela, has passed away after a brief illness.
Hon. Yakubu Garba Tela, died on Saturday after a brief illness.
Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, while mourning the death of Tela, in a condolence message signed by his media aide, Mukhtar Gidado, the Governor described the late chairman as a dedicated public servant, grassroots mobilizer, and community leader who devoted his life to the development of Dambam Local Government.
Governor Mohammed extended condolences to the family of the deceased, the people of Dambam, colleagues in the local government system, and the entire state, praying Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest.
The funeral prayer for Hon. Yakubu Garba Tela is scheduled to hold today at Misau Central Mosque by 2:00 pm.
