ADC presidential candidate taps new appointees to strengthen grassroots campaign
The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress and former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, has appointed two aides to drive community engagement as part of efforts to strengthen his grassroots outreach.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by his media office, Atiku named Alh. Aliyu Bello as Senior Special Assistant on Community Engagement and Dr. Victor Moses as Special Assistant on Community Engagement.
Aliyu Bello, a seasoned journalist, entrepreneur, international trader and respected grassroots politician, brings a wealth of experience in leadership, public service and youth mentorship to his new role.
He holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication and certifications in Leadership and Business Management. Bello previously served two terms as Kaduna State Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, where he promoted youth political participation. He also served as Financial Secretary of the Kaduna State chapter of the PDP before joining the ADC.
His experience in media, entrepreneurship, politics and community engagement is expected to strengthen youth participation and grassroots networks for the ADC presidential candidate.
Dr. Victor Moses, a scholar, public affairs strategist and entrepreneur, has nearly two decades of experience in strategic communication, political mobilisation, behavioural research and grassroots engagement.
He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and has served as National Publicity Secretary of the Atiku Support Organisation since 2021, playing a key role in stakeholder engagement and grassroots mobilisation.
Atiku congratulated the two new appointees and wished them success in serving the shared vision of the party.
