The All Progressives Congress has dismissed reports circulating in parts of the media claiming to outline the prices of its expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the party described the report as false, stating that it did not originate from the APC.
The statement, signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, said the information being circulated was misleading and should be disregarded.
“The APC states categorically that the report is fake and did not emanate from the party,” the statement read.
The party clarified that no decision has been taken regarding the sale or pricing of nomination forms for the 2027 elections.
“To be clear, no decision or announcement has been made on the sale or pricing of forms for the 2027 elections. The report is a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination,” it added.
The APC urged its members, the media, and the general public to disregard the report in its entirety.
