National Examinations Council, NECO, has disowned a fake Face-Book Account opened in the name of the council.
Registrar/Chief Executive, Prof. Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi warned that the aimed of the fraudsters was to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
In a statement issued to newsmen in Abuja on Sunday, the examination body said, “The Council wishes to draw the attention of the public to the existence of this fake Facebook Account in order to avoid being swindled by the fraudsters.”
Meanwhile, security agents have been informed to take appropriate action against the perpetrators of this fraudulent act.
