The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has declared that the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration in just two years demonstrate bold and transformative leadership.
Speaking at the National Dialogue on Citizen Engagement and National Security in Abuja, Idris asserted that no previous government has matched the current administration’s strides in economic reforms, infrastructure, and youth empowerment.
“No preceding government has ever achieved what the Tinubu administration has achieved in two years: first, the courage to vanquish the monster of oil subsidy and the forex racket, and then massive road infrastructure, an unprecedented students’ loans scheme, and the CreditCorp, indeed, policies that are re-stimulating confidence in our young population,” he stated.
Idris highlighted that despite initial economic turbulence, the government’s policies are yielding positive results, including falling food prices, improved security, and landmark initiatives like local government autonomy and the creation of the Federal Ministry of Livestock Development.
He emphasized that President Tinubu’s leadership has reinvigorated national hope, with policies designed to foster inclusivity and economic revitalization.
The Minister also stressed the importance of trust and unity in strengthening national security, noting that the Renewed Hope Agenda prioritizes citizen engagement. He commended the Voice of Nigeria for promoting national cohesion and urged stakeholders to collaborate in advancing Nigeria’s development.
The event was attended by top government officials, security chiefs, and civil society leaders, reinforcing the call for collective action in building a stronger, more united Nigeria.
