Singer Terry Apala has given activist VeryDarkMan a 48-hour ultimatum to remove a defamatory post alleging his involvement in bribery with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
According to Terry Apala’s lawyer, the allegations are false and damaging to his reputation.
Apala, in a cease and desist letter, vehemently denied the bribery claims, stating that he has never been involved in financial corruption with any organisation or individual.
He also provided an alibi, explaining that he was outside the country for a couple of months, observing the Ramadan fast, during the period the alleged incident took place.
The singer expressed concern that the unfounded accusation could harm not only his reputation but also that of the EFCC.
