Bauchi State Government has partnered Protexxa Inc, a Canadian cybersecurity organisation, to launch the Cyber Nations Initiative, a cutting-edge cybersecurity training programme to train youths in the state.
The project is to deliver the Cyber Nations Initiative Cybersecurity Training Programme to empower youths and professionals with globally relevant skills that promises to open doors to high-demand careers in the digital security landscape.
The Commissioner of Information and Communication, Hon. Usman Shehu Usman said this in a press release distributed to reporters in Bauchi.
He said “The Cyber Nations Initiative is a Canada-based coalition of global leaders working together to educate and employ 100,000 African, Caribbean and Canadian learners within the global cyber security industry”.
Usman said the Programme stems from a wide range of engagements embarked upon by the Bauchi State Government from a strategic bilateral mission it undertook in Canada.
