Rivers State Administrator, Ibok-Ete Ibas, has ordered the immediate suspension of all political office holders and appointees in the state.
Affected officials include:
Secretary to the State Government (SSG)
Chief of Staff, Edison Ehi
All Honourable Commissioners
Chairmen and members of boards, councils, agencies, commissions, institutions, and parastatals
-All Special Advisers, Special Assistants, and Senior Special Assistants
The directive takes immediate effect, though no official reason has been provided yet.
