President Bola Tinubu has convened a high-level security meeting at the Presidential Villa, gathering the country’s top security and intelligence officials.
Among those present are the service chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police, the National Security Adviser, and the Directors-General of the State Security Service (SSS) and the National Intelligence Agency (NIA).
Although the specific agenda of the meeting has not been disclosed, such sessions are a regular occurrence, as the President routinely receives security briefings to evaluate national security threats and developments.
It remains unclear, however, whether their presence is linked to the ongoing security meeting.
