The All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated its Renewed Hope Partners initiative in Abia Central, with Rep. Sir Samuel Ifeanyi Onuigbo KJW declaring, “We shall fly on the wings of President Tinubu’s vision,” as the party rallies support for the President’s re-election bid.
The event, held on Monday in Umuahia, brought together party stalwarts and new members, with Onuigbo hailing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership as transformative for Nigeria.
Speaking at the launch, Rep. Sir Samuel Ifeanyi Onuigbo KJW hailed the initiative as a pivotal moment in Abia’s political history. He praised President Tinubu’s leadership, describing him as “the leader Nigeria deserves,” and credited the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda with delivering tangible progress.
“The overwhelming acceptance of the APC reflects public confidence in President Tinubu’s visionary governance,” Onuigbo said. “His experience has translated into remarkable achievements, and we are committed to ensuring his mandate is renewed.”
The lawmaker also commended Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, for spearheading the Renewed Hope Partners, which seeks to galvanise citizen participation ahead of the next election. He pledged that Abia Central would vigorously promote the Tinubu administration’s policies, ensuring they become a “household mantra” across the region.
“The Deputy Speaker’s patriotic zeal aligns with Mr. President’s inclusive agenda,” Onuigbo added. “Together, we shall carry this message of hope to every corner of our zone.”
The event marked a significant step in the APC’s efforts to consolidate its influence in Abia, traditionally an opposition stronghold. With promises of grassroots engagement and policy advocacy, the party aims to translate federal achievements into electoral success.
Closing his address, Onuigbo expressed confidence that the initiative would not falter, declaring: “We shall fly on the wings of President Tinubu’s vision—a Renewed Hope for all Nigerians.”
