Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state has approved the appointment of his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, and six others as Permanent secretaries.
This was contained in a press statement signed by Hashim Umar Bulkachuwa,
Information Officer,
Office of the Head of Civil Service Bauchi and issued to newsmen on Friday. It states that the appointment of the new permanent secretaries is part of the Governor’s continues effort to rejuvenate and further enhance the
quality of the Civil Service towards repositioning it for better service delivery.
“His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed CON (Kauran Daular Usmaniya), the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, has approved the appointment of (7) Seven new Permanent Secretaries in to the State Service”, the press statement disclosed.
According to the statement, while Mohammed Nasir Usman, Abubakar Garba Adamu takes slots of Bauchi and Darazo LGAs respectively, Ganjuwa LGA had two slots with Yusuf Adamu and Yakubu Ahmed as new permanent secretaries.
Others are the Governor’s media Aide, Mukhtar Gidado for Alkaleri, Adamu Aliyu Abdullahi for Katagum and Ahmed Ahmed for Toro LGA.
The statement which observed that the appointment of the new permanent secretaries came based on merit, it tasked the appointees to redouble their efforts to justify the confidence reposed in them.
