Customs Clarifies: Recruitment Exercise Still Ongoing

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has issued a progress report regarding its ongoing 2025 recruitment drive.

This follows December 2024’s recruitment announcement, when the Service invited applications for 3,927 positions across three cadres: Superintendent, Inspector, and Customs Assistant. The application window ran from 27th December 2024 to 2nd January 2025.

Responding to an enquiry via its official Facebook page, the NCS confirmed the selection process remains underway, with final decisions yet to be made.

Service representatives emphasised that all applicants should maintain realistic expectations while exercising patience during this period.

“Mijin Black Aljana, we sincerely apologise for the delay in the ongoing recruitment process. Contrary to circulating assumptions, the recruitment has not yet been concluded and is still in progress.
